The Client’s in need of C++ DEVELOPERS who will be responsible for design, development, testing and support of new and existing software and software components within their proprietary trading platforms/order-management/execution systems for EQUITIES, FOREX and DERIVATIVES that allow clients to control and customize their trading. The Developers will be responsible for identifying, documenting and fixing software defects and as well as working with QA to create and execute comprehensive test plans. (GUI C++ Development with GTK and QT is a major plus)
Responsibilities
In the maintenance and development of their proprietary applications, C++ DEVELOPERS are expected to use best practices and design patterns, analyze existing software design and detect shortcomings, suggest and implement alternatives all within a real time trading environment.
Skills Required:
5+ years hands on development experience with C++ on SOLARIS/LINUX and WINDOWS with familiarity of mathematical ALGORITHMS.
5+ years hands on experience releasing electronic trading products along with a through understanding of SDLC processes.
Must have a true understanding of how the whole release cycle works.
Understanding of DESIGN PATTERNS and UNIT TESTING are a plus.
Gather software requirements, help external clients with upgrades and new installations while providing feedback for software design and development.
Bachelor`s Degree in Software Engineering and equivalent industry experience in securities and trading industry experience necessary
